• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Thinking of putting Fox shocks on my wife's STL

You're welcome, if needed, you can put as many as two spring rubbers in each shock, one on top and one on bottom but I think one set will work for your wife and it's hard to beat the price, much cheaper than investing in shocks to prevent the bike from bottoming out, I was impressed with the difference in handling as well

I put them on today and we went for a 4 hour ride and my wife said it didn't bottom out once.:thumbup::thumbup:

Thanks again Jeff. Saved up close to $400.

If your coming to SpyderQuest, Supper is on us. We have a white STL and a Valkyrie Interstate.

Happy it worked for you and your wife, I'm very happy with mine and I'm an aggressive rider especially in turns, cheap fix that makes a world of difference

Jeff, wish you don't mind my question

"Bottom out" is for example when you hit a light dip or bump in the road and your bike (mainly front end) dips down and bottoms out the shocks or hits the front plastic.

I hope Bob doesn't postwhore here either. :roflblack:

The spring rubbers aren't really needed on the 2014's, you have adjustable fox shocks on your bike but the answer is yes, the spring rubbers will work in any shock on any Spyder

The 2013 models don't have adjustable shocks.

Thanks snoopy

Snoopy, thanks for the info:bowdown:. Are you OK? :lecturef_smilie:Usually your answers are with special.....flavor:dontknow:.
I'm considering the bump-skid, from your experience, is it worth adding it?
