• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

This morning BumbleBee, Molee, xpeschon, Jonathan and I had breakfast with the "Trip of a Lifetime" crew at Country Kitchen in Lebanon, MO. We all had a great time talking briefly, prior to their departure. After breakfast, and a brief stop at the gas station (and wait on xpeschon, go fig'r) they were off on their journey. Spydergene chose Pee-Wee (of all people) to be his mascot on the trip, so I have sub-titled this journey "Pee-Wee's Big Adventure II". Good luck, and safe journey to all. Ryde Safe.

Meeting up with my friends was great fun today. Guess what, Irish was there :D! I met Trickie Dick, irish2themax, and GeminiJane for the first time today, Was great meeting you :D

We had lots of laughs at breakfast this morning. :2thumbs:

We had our son with us today, so we didn't ryde with them any further (they headed right into the storms, which lasted for hours). :yikes:

I learned 3 things today, my gloves are not water proof after all, my boots are not water proof and never trust an Irishmans GPS. Myself and Xpeschon wound up eating lunch with them in Springfield and we headed home. Radar indicated they were headed into another small rain cell and then hopefully they will have dry weather to Tulsa. We had a great time and adventure, of course that always happens when you get Spyderlovers together. Safe winds to the grumpy old men and their two referees.
 
I think I have added a couple pictures, the whole process to add pictures to a message is confusing to me for some reason.. Anyway it was a nice time today, was very nice to see the gang.. I echo what Lee said and also what Bumble Bee added.. And yes we did get HAMMERED on but you know what?? It was worth every minute to see spend some time with the group.. I wish them safe travels and I'm sure they will post a bit in a couple days, or possible sooner.. Hope the pictures get added to this message and if not I will try to edit it to add'em.

PS: I edited it only to add that Pee Wee Herman is Gene's Best New Friend and's making the trip with them but he got soaked today cause Gene forgot his Rain Coat,, ha ha ha.. You go Pee Wee!!! Sorry about the face shot Fly...

Unfortunately, at breakfast, I caught only his back in the picture. If you look at the video, you'll see his face on xpeschon's windshield. :doorag:
 
Uhhhhh . . . "They're Off!"

. . . . is that a "status", a "metal state" or both?

I guess I'll find out when they get here.

The video caught my Spyder acting up probably gonna have to visit Cowtown.
