• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

There you have it...AZ

Interesting concept. Depending on how it's written it could be a very useful tool. Or it could be an exercise in political grandstanding that won't survive a court challenge.

FURTHER

lets carry this one step further....
once convicted of a crime, and incarcerated, you will forfit personel belongings, IE; house, car, boat, 401K, savings, etc etc etc... to the State to pay for your court cost and incarceration....
i asked my State Re & Senator to make this law, and they think i'm nutz... why would i be nutz to think that a person that commits a crime, shouldn't be held responsible for payment of that crime.... duh....

Have been in the States for 30 years, havn't found a reason to protest yet, been making my small part of America great all by myself by getting up every morning and going to work, no need to get politicians, protesters or anybody else involved:doorag:

I think companies should be fined for hiring them

Damn. That's too bad. i think anyone with an out of state drivers license, or lack thereof, should be fined, jailed, and/or kicked out of the state.

I'm fine with "local protestors" with skin in the game, but these out of towners, paid or unpaid, drive me crazy. That pipeline protest in the Dakota's pisses me off big time, especially the mess they left behind.

A man was picked up today at my friends place of work, escorted away by police. My friend was told the guy had been deported before but came back across the border and was working there. My question is why aren't the companies penalized for hiring people who are not suppose to be here? This company has about 300 employees. Shouldn't companies be penalized for hiring them?

every time we put restrictions on any part of the constitution we take another step towards less freedom.
Exactly... This law is a horrible idea as protesting is one of the most American things someone can do... it's basically how our country got started and why we have our fantastic 1st Amendment.
Some states implemented such laws during the civil rights movement... they often went hand in hand with sundowner laws.

That's true. HOWEVER, and that's a big however, is it a true expression of one's basic liberty if the "protests" are organized and paid for by shadowy third parties who are bent on causing violence in order to subvert our constitutional government? Or is it an act of sedition? I would submit that peacefully organized protests to express your rights as CITIZENS is sacred to our society, but it is crossing the invisible line when ultra rich transnational billionaires are paying for and organizing and training large groups of people to cause violence in order to push forward their personal agendas.
