• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The 'Why We Ride Group'

Wow..!!

that should be a sight to see. Not fond of big crowds but wish them luck and that all goes off without a hitch...:2thumbs::clap::yes::yes:

I went in 2005 with a friend and a friend of his. We stayed in a camp ground which was called Katmandu, if memory serves me. We choose it because it had a reputation for being well run and quiet, unlike Buffalo Chip or similar. The camp ground was great and no crazies there. They had a couple of old shuttle buses that we took at night rather than trying to ride and find places to park.

I enjoyed it and the crowds were huge. Finding a place to eat was challenging but we did find a small family style restaurant which although a little slow was good. There were places that got the huge crowds and some that are a little more realistic. Maybe still like that. Having to line up at gas stations because of crowds for quite a while was different.

It was a real experience for sure. I have been back a couple of times with my wife and the same friend and his wife but not during the event. What a difference. Doubt whether I would ever go again during the event but very glad I did it once.

There is some terrific riding to be done in the area and I'll second Custer State Park as a must do.
