The Wave

I hear talk of riders not returning a wave to Spyder riders. In my area of rural North Florida, nearly everyone waves...

I like to get the wave as well as give the wave. I have long ago stopped worrying about those who don't or why.

A wave from a fellow biker always makes me feel good. :yes:

I wave to everyone as well, and there are times when other riders will wave first. I don't worry if someone doesn't wave, I just wave at the next bike I see, Spyder or not. My experience is that probably nine out of ten wave. Those that don't, well that is their choice & right. Truth is, not everyone is friendly. Those that do not wave may not wave at anybody. Just my 2 cents.

last week while on a ride, i had a guy on a lawn tractor wave. of course i waved back. harley guys in our area are about 50/50 as to whether they wave or not. more crotch rocketers wave than harleys. we wave to everyone, even guys on lawn tractors!! :thumbup:

I do. Unfortunately some folks think they are admiting something. I wave to all bikes off road scooters and anyone that waves at me...:thumbup:

Got a wave from a gentleman in a battery powered wheelchair, going down the highway in the opposite direction, a couple months back. My wave back put a smile on his face.

Here is Ohio, about 50/50 on a single H.D. rider if there is more than one H.D. its almost 100% they won't wave. At a stoplight almost 100% of H.D. riders won't even acknowledge you exist. All the other brands almost always wave if they can.

I wave to everyone, whether I'm on my spyder or HD. I get a chuckle at the people that are to cool to wave back. Its all good though..
I do get more waves back when my wife is with me....not sure why....haha...
