• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

A 5 dallor donation per vehicle for this event. I think this will be a great event and seeing the wall because alot of Vietman veterans have not been to Washington to the wall. I'm a Vietman vet and will be showing my support for this :2thumbs:

I've never been to the one in Washington either. I have seen this traveling one a couple of times. It's a powerful experience. It's worth the time and effort, especially if you haven't seen the big one. Vietnam vet here as well. Semper Fi!

Hope to see you at the show on Sat. Sept 10th. Sorry I can't make the ryde on the 6th. Work calls...:(

When I visited Washington D.C Back in the early 80's I visited the Vietnam memorial wall when it was first unveiled. This one of the most moving experiences I have ever had. My grandfather was in the 11th Royal Field Ambulance Corp. in WW2 and I am always moved on Remembrance Day "Lest We Forget"

There is a permanent half-scale replica of the Vietnam Wall in Pensacola at the Veteran's Park on Bayfront Parkway, for those that aren't aware of this. :2thumbs: The Kentucky Vietnam Veteran's Memorial was one of the most interesting Vietnam memorials I've seen (other than the Wall, that is)...it's in Frankfort and is a large sundial. The shadow from the sundial lands on the person's name on the anniversary of their death. A lot of thought and planning had to go into that one. Thank you to all the veterans for their service...especially those who gave all. :thumbup:16588.jpg2011-08-12 Washington DC 292.jpg2011-08-10 Annapolis; DC at night 357.jpg Here are a few pictures from our recent trip (KY Vietnam Veterans Memorial, Korean War Memorial, Iwo Jima Memorial)

I didn't know it until recently but there are about 6 walls traveling the country, sponsored by different organizations. Not all are the same size either. This Wednesday I will be escorting one of them to my town (Barstow , Ca) from Victorville for our 10 year tribute to remember 9/11. Two months ago I escorted one of he walls fro Ontario to the city of Orange with over 400 bikers. It was awesome but the freeways were a zoo and I'm glad ther were no incidents. This one will be escorted by the Chp. On Sunday many of the churches will close their doors so everyone can come down to the high school football stadium for the 9/11 tribute. It is not a worship service.this has never been done in the history of this town. The wall will be in the infield btw. Our nation bonded together in churches right afte 9/11. I hope they remember 10 years later.
