• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The Vulcan Was Woke Up

ARtraveler

R.I.P. Dwayne
Finally woke up the Vulcan yesterday. Had some major back issues a couple months ago and was worried that my two wheeling days were coming to an end.

Fast forward: Not this time. The Vulcan fired on the very first try after sleeping since October. Love those Battery Tender Jr's. The back is now back in place and the legs are once again working as they should. The bike seemed about 200# heavier for the first couple minutes, but by the time I got back from my forty mile test ride--all was well.

As usual, I will be splitting my time between the two rides. Hoping to double last years mileage.:popcorn:

Awesome...!!

Good to hear you are back in shape and can hang on to the two wheeling a bit longer...:yes:enjoy them both and good luck on the whole more mileage than last year thing...

Glad to hear you got the Vulcan out for a ride. I have a Vulcan Nomad and a Spyder RS and love riding them both. Some days just have to ride one in the morning and the other later in the day.

Vulcans

I have had 4 Vulcans and never had one problem with any one of them! Sold my '14 Voyager when I discovered that I could not pick it up without help; hated to see it go :yikes:

Were I to ride, I would probably take the Vulcan. This is my fourth also. One Nomad 1500, one LTD 2000, and two 900 LTD's.

Just remember: putting TWO cats into those airline-approved boxes: isn't a job for the squeamish! :roflblack:

The plane ride might not be good for either. One is a special needs and the other a big cry baby. He actually howls for "daddy" when I go out the door.
