• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

the ultimate seat pad!

I was looking for a heated seat or seat pad and found this great product! I didn't want to spend the big bucks for a Corbin and Ultimate has no plans on making a heated seat so this was my best option. I am extremely happy with the purchase. It plugs right into the battery tender plug. Not only has this gel pad stopped my butt from getting sore, it's HEATED! :2thumbs:

Heated Seat Pad

The first ever heated gel seat pad. We have integrated the heating element directly inside the polymer gel for even heat distribution and riding comfort.

  • "Smart" heating element senses hotspots and redirects heat for even warmth
  • Comes complete with waterproof on/off switch and wire harness
  • Uses less than 3.5 amps and shuts off when at peak temperature
  • Available in real leather or leather-like vinyl
  • 18 month warranty on heating element
  • Comes with straps.

This is the one I purchased:

WHEN I CALLED THE COMPANY FOR INFO, THEY SAID THEY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PAD FOR THE SPYDER DUE TO THE MATERIAL USED FOR THE SPYDER SEAT SO USE THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK! I figured if the heat from the engine hasn't ruined my seat yet, this heated pad won't either.

I think I would listen to the company. There is a reason you don't see heated OEM seats with vinyl covers. Heat makes vinyl shrink. If it does so, your embroidered LTD seat will be history. Just sayin'...

NEW HEATED SEAT

Thanks for the info, please keep us updated on how you like it.....Also you may want to put something between the pad and the Spyder seat material....some type of aluminized cloth....just in case.....Mike
