The Twisted Sisters aka The Three Sisters

Did 1602 miles this past weekend on the spyder, my first long trip. Was truly impressed with the spyder. Road from Brookhaven, MS to San Antonio, Tx then on to Leakey, TX and rode the twisted sisters. The twisted sisters were great! Spyder601 was with me along with four 2-wheelers. One guy was on a Harley. Was all smiles when the 2 wheel guys (especially the Harley guy) wouldn't stop talking about how impressed they were with the spyder. The Harley friend kept going on about how he didn't think the spyders would be able to keep up on the twisties but we performed just as good as the two wheelers! It was a great trip with great friends and I can't wait to do it again. I will also have to add that I believe one of the biggest reasons I didn't get tired or sore was because of my ultimate seat and my rivco highway pegs. Loving my spyder!!

drought

did three sisters a few weeks ago, always love it! Rode with some Harley BMW and Wing folks and managed to stay right up with them, except have to stop for gas a little more often. Couldn't help but worry looking at the effects of the drought sure hope it ends soon.

Twisted Sisters

I hade my Spyder about 45 days before I took it to Leaky and rode the Twisted Sisters and then on to Kerrville. I really got into the twiesties and kept up with the Harleys. They were also impressed with the Spyder. Glad that you enjoyed them also.

The twisted sisters ride and looking for bluebonnet is one my list. So many rides and events to do and so little time.

Welcome to south Texas. We just finished the 2013 Texas Trike Reunion in Kerrville. On Friday, the 5th, we met at the Koyote Ranch Resort (on Hwy 16, north of Medina) went down to Medina and took Hwy 337 to Leakey with a PR stop at the Frio Canyon Motorcycle Stop, then south to Concan with a nice lunch at Neal's Cafe. After lunch many rode the "other sisters", Hwy 335 and 336, back to the "Stop" and then on to Kerrville. A fun day. I ride the "Ladies" about once a month.....

Yes we did the three sisters a few weeks ago, With the new RON bar installed , the Harleys and even 2 Corvetts could not stay up with my spyder, but i like to ride fast n hard, last weekend went to the HOG rally in Houma la, and i guess we stop faster then harleys do, and a harley hit the right side saddle bag is gone,

Bluebonnetts

I was with George on this ride. The flowers on the Willow City Loop were way down from last year. But last year we were a week later, and did get a little rain over the weekend, so there may be more.

I must say this was right up there as far as fun things I have ever done. The hill country was beautiful and I have to give a big shout to Hermann Sons steak house in Hondo Tx. The Ribeye was Delicious. This was also my first long trip and the performance of the spyder was more than I could ask for. I also had a lot of points in my direction thanks to the set of Glo-Ryder's. love that add to the bike. Hope to do something like that again soon

texas hill country

We went to Fredericksburg winter before last and rode the Three sisters four times , it was great. Willow City loop is 1/2 Mile from my sisters house . it was a good year for the flowers for sure. Hope to spend next winter in Fredericksburg and ride most of the time. Kerrville 20 miles away its just a nice place to visit. Stop at my sisters store The Amish Wharehouse on main st . Food furniture and a neat little store that has some of the best stuff made . Tell them Bill sent you. (Bill RYan)

I used to do that ride every year around this time with a group of friends. We'd stay at a campground in Kerrville and when we weren't on the sisters, head to a rally that was held in Fredricksberg or over to Luckenbach. Great times and great roads!

Can't Wait

My wife and I are planning to ride the sisters this fall. Glad to hear how well the Spyders are doing out there. We did a 600 mile weekend to Fredericksburg, TX in April. Did the Willow City loop, the Blanco river, Canyon Lake and the Guadalupe. We had no trouble keeping up with the two 2-wheelers. Ride Texas :spyder2:
