• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The strangest thing happened yesterday!!!

Went for a nice ride yesterday with a bike group. Stopped at a local restaurant for lunch. Pulled in the parking lot, hit my emergency brake, turned the key to off and pulled the key out of the iginition and low and behold, my spyder was still running. Put the key back in went thru the start up procedures, turned the bike off like nothing happened. You talk about confusing???? What in the world was that all about?:dontknow:

That's a strange one, alright. I can't begin to tell you exactly what went wrong, but if I were you, I'd learn to turn off the Spyder with the kill switch...and see my dealer about why the ignition switch doesn't always work.

Same thing happend to me

2011 RTse5 limited the same thing happend butonly once at about 2000 miles. Has any one seen the pre add for the new floorboards for the rts, i ges it was a test marke to generate intrust but the boards were great looking hop they com up for sale soon gota havem.

A similar thing happened to me yesterday. I stopped for gas, hit the kill switch, turned the key to off, but my iPod music kept playing. Normally the music turns off when the key is off, but this time it didn't stop until the :spyder2: went thru the entire shutdown sequence and completely powered down.

turning off.....

Good Idea. My dealer is 62 miles away but I am in contact with some of them there. I'll pose the question and see what response I get.
