The Start Of The NASCAR Season...

The Big Boys are strapping in pretty darn soon. Ths one should be a real barn-burner! :2thumbs:
Jeff's has to win to get in...
This is a good track for him, and there's lots of other Hendrick cars up near him; DO YOU THINK that there might be some team orders in play for tonight? Junior and Jimmie don't need the win... :dontknow:

No team orders. Think back to how it ended last year. Now think about if junior or 5 time pulled up and let Gordon win. Gets home in the chase with 6 points. I don't think either one of them would do it because they might be giving away more than just the race.

Gee... His teammates landed in 12th, 13th and 14th, to Shrub's 16th... Does that count as a wall of trees that Shrub couldn't see over???

Shrub must have gotten the crap scared out of him the end of last year. I can't believe he didn't pop off after the race last night, I would have and I am a nice guy. I thought Gordon was going to during the rain delay when the ESPN guy asked him "where does your car need to be better Jeff?"

I liked the way that he made a circling motion, and basically said something like, "Out there..."
His car was cRaP until they cut that limiter chain loose from the rear axle! :gaah:

So who do you like for the Championship? Hamlin is on fire right now and I would love to see Darian sitting at the champions table again this year so he could wave to Smoke out in the crowd.

These fluctuations are minor... :dontknow:
She's got far fewer racers in FRONT of her in the standings, than she does BEHIND her... :roflblack:

Been a little out of touch this weekend, went to Maine to buy a VMax....so time was pretty limited.

But I did get this from Richmond....Jeff's in! Shrub's pissed....:dontknow: nothing new there, the championship? Gotta be honest here, it's gonna be extremely difficult to get ahead of the #48 in the last 10 races. Those guys just get tougher & make fewer mistakes than anyone else as the season winds down. Just don't see anyone that looks poised to 'come alive' in the chase.

Danni had a nice run, got inside the top 30, that was cool! Dented up the car a bit but, hey.....that's racing! ;)

I calls 'em as I sees 'em!

I love ya.............., but your so wrong :lecturef_smilie:

There are only 14 drivers which includes Danica that have run a full schedule (25 races) in the Nationwide series. So, if Danica is in 11th and there are only 14 that have ran all 25 races, she is in fact at the tail end. One of the drivers ahead of her in points has only run 24 races and is still beating her (Joe Nemechek).

Now, I hope I enlightened you to these facts and this madness that she is doing well in the points can be put to bed once and for all. :roflblack:

It pains me to say this...but Randy is right. She is near the bottom of the pack of Nationwide regulars. I just don't think fender bangin' is her cup of tea.

Well, boring race so far but it only took JJ 32 laps to lap her and at 64+ he's ready to do it again.
What a great business model they're working to....a total waste of fuel, time and energy.

:gaah: Stuck freakin' throttle! What a bonehead thing to have happen in the Chase... :gaah:
Keselowski's looking strong!

Quite a turn of events todays race. JJ couldn't hold on to the lead. Keselowski pulled a rabbit from his hat. Gordon, well what can you say, just look at his season. Jr. pulled a bone head move with the engine change but still managed an 8th. And Smoke is quietly doing what Smoke does. Boring race. So what is Miss Nascars j.o.b. anyway other than standing there getting soaked and looking pretty?

And hope to latch onto a winning driver like Brook what's her name did! :roflblack:

Yup, boring race....Danni finished 1 lap down inside the top 25....not bad for the early pace the #48 was setting!

If you boys think I'm not going to mention that Danica wrecked herself trying to wreck someone else,,,,,,,, obviously don't know me well enough !!!!!!!!!! :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:
