The Start of Football Season

Well .............. I'm a Jet fan so I have been disappointed forever, but they did look good for not winning a game in pre-season. We have Tebow, so God is on our side.

Peyton Manning and RG3 looked good as well, but I was shocked that SF 49rs beat GB Packers.

Watched the Broncos last night and liked that game a lot. Manning looked pretty good.

Was also impressed by the Redskins in the AM.

Don't have a favorite team currently. Farve is gone from the Packers and the Vikings--but I guess life will go on for both those teams.

What's it like to win?

As a die hard Bill's fan I really don't know much about that winning stuff. In 50 years we only had two good quarterbacks Kemp and Kelly. Now that they switched most of our winter Miami games to Toronto it's not even fun to watch.

Giants fan here... pretty disappointed with their first outing.
The Missus is the big fan of the Sport; she focuses on the quarterbacks: Peyton looked pretty sharp with only a few misuces that could be attributed to his time off...
Rodgers was shut down by the 49er's defense
Sanchez looked pretty good; having Tebow around may force him to step up his game.
Vick played like :cus: :clap:

I don't settle in to the NFL seriously until NASCAR parks the cars for the "Dark Spell" :shocked:

BRONCO FAN!

I am a die hard Bronco fan. I enjoyed watching Tebow. He makes you feel like Elway did when he played, never give up. Miracles do happen.
I think Manning is going to make the Broncos an AFC contender. It's a fun time of year for us football fans.

is, much less traffic on sunday afternoon. went on an icecream run sunday afternoon, easily 50% less traffic:yes:. i'll bet i went 80 miles out of 100+ with NOBODY behind me:thumbup: very few in front.

I feel your pain........on a positive note it looks like the NHL will have a work stoppage which means I will not have to suffer the embarrassment of watching the Leafs? Is there any wonder I grew tired of professional sports?:dontknow:

Well, I live in Colorado and am REALLY happy about the Peyton deal, so I'd have to say Broncos. When not a Broncos fan, I came from San Diego, so have to give the Chargers a nod when they are not playing Denver.

However, it is REALLY nice to have what appears to be a REAL football team for a change again here in Denver.

Tebow is a great kid, he will do well.
