• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Still searching for my future Spyder, didn't want anyone to think that I fell off the grid. :D

I keep going back to this bike:

http://www.wherethepoweris.com/2012-can-am-spyder-rt-sm5-inventory.htm?id=879724&in-stock=1

my concern is it is a 2012 with 24,048 and I don't want her going up in flames.... I'm just saying.

The price point with the sale is spot on with what Erik said we can do. So I need opinions, please. Should I be looking for 2014 or newer, or is older OK. When is it too much mileage wise?

Hope everyone has a great day!!!!!!!!!

What a crazy coincidence! That 2012 RT is what I traded in for my 2014 RTS. I promise you that this bike is in excellent condition. All dealer servicing has been done on time. The 2012 was a great year. I really wanted to keep it, but couldn't afford 2, nor have the room for 2.

Not to mention, this has the BajaRon sway bar, which greatly improved the handling.

If you have any specific questions, just let me know.

Steven

Hi Adele!
A 2012 RT is a GREAT bike! nojoke

It's already four year's old... if it was going to burn: we'd have read about it a LONG time ago. :D

Remember:

Gee....

Was just going to say.....but noticed it will not work out for you..:banghead::banghead: was a good deal for a good spyder....

A hard decision. The 2012 is pretty rock solid. I have a 2011 with 23,000 and it is still riding like new.

I do like my 2014 a bit better though.

Really, really, really, don't let the few fires reported turn you off :spyder2:. It can happen to any motorized vehicle. The odds of a :spyder2: not going up in flames are very much in your favor. 50/100,000 is the ball park number--give or take 2 or 3.

Oh its not deterring me, remember Stealth Billie was 2008 GS Premier Edition, if I was worried about catching fire, I would have never bought her!

Nice Bike

I have the 2012, bought it new. Nice bike. Probably have 36,000 miles on it and I think it's just broken in. Plan on putting at least one number in front of that odometer reading! Enjoy!
