• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The RT saved my bacon today!

Riding to a PGR mission today on a 4 lane with 6 other riders. Running about 65 mph when a 20x20 sheet of plastic comes across the road and wraps around the front of the RT. A pucker factor for sure! The RT did great. Stayed straight and never once did she act up. I pulled over and got all the wrapping off of her. One of the guys said all I needed was a bow and the RT was wrapped for Christmas! All I can say is Thanks BRP! I think if I had been on my old Goldwing, I would not be here tonight talking about it. The good lord and my Guardian Angel was riding with me today!

Glad you are safe!

The things we run into. I ran over a yellow strap on I40 off a trailer it wrapped around my front tire. Glad it did not lock up my front wheel thank God.

Great story about the merits for riding three wheels.

Did you happen to get a photo?

When you said "20x20 sheet of plastic" I envisioned a piece of rigid plastic! :yikes: Thankfully, it was the wrapping kind! I'm glad it turned out ok.

No question that these wonderful machines are much safer than the two wheelers that many of us rode for most of our lives. in 2011 I totaled any RT against the side of an illegally maneuvering trailer truck. I believe with all my heart that I would have died on a two wheeler or even a car. The Spyder was totaled but I did not even leave the bike until after the event was over and I stepped off on my own power.

Good to hear..!!

you made it through this unsathed..I do give you some credit for keeping a cool head and trusting your ryde. The rest is in other hands...
