• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. THE REALLY WARM GLOVES I HAD AT SPYDERFEST

BLUEKNIGHT911

Sadly Passed Oct 2024 - RIP
At this year's event we all know how the weather threw us a curve-ball....Well I had found some really great gloves at Walmart's and am sooooooooooo glad I brought them......I showed them around and quite a few people tried to get them at the local wally world in Springfield to no avail, because they DON'T ICE FISH IN MISSOURI.:2excited:..:roflblack:....You can get them on-line for $12.99 a pair and they will deliver them to any Walmart anywhere for free....they are called "CELSIUS DELUXE NEOPRENE FISHING GLOVES ". Model # DNG-M , they are fleece lined and you can put your hands in " ice water " and leave them there and it will take quite awhile before it will bother you, and your hands will still be dry.......The main reason I'm posting this is......When you look for the correct SIZE right now they only show med. & x-large.....That's because they only ship what's in the warehouse in stock at any given time...So you may have to wait untill they get the size you want in stock, but they will get them eventually, I did see small and large in VT.....I personally have Large and my normal glove size is 9 1/2 to 10 and they fit perfect........PS I think Dave aka CINCYSPYDER & Karyl, aka Murphy Brown where successful in placing orders....I know they liked them....Just throwin this out there.....Mike,..

thanks for the info

I know Dave and a few others mentioned Ice Fishing Gloves but we couldnt find them anywhere in Springfield (and trust me, we spent 5 hours searching every store in the Springfield area), nor could we find them on the Walmart wehsite, but now that you have given the eact name,,,, I am going to google search them now and get a pair

someone could have made a fortune selling them at Spyderfest..... lol

You DID have some folks scratching their heads over this one... :roflblack::roflblack:

Bob, when I looked for them to help others find them I ran into the " not in that size " situation......That's why I posted this.....They do come in four sizes S - M - L - XL ......But if that size is not currently in stock they don't list on the web site :hun:....and they don't tell you that & it doesn't make sense, poor marketing in my opinion......So if you want them you may have to try a few times to order the size you want.....and I have NO WALLY WORLD STOCKS....:roflblack: :roflblack:......Mike

I found these in my store today in L and XL, so I was able to try them on. Then I just now ordered them from Walmart.com in the Medium, for site-to-store shipping. Thanks for the tip.

No offence intended or taken

BLUEKNIGHT911,
I was not offended, and did not intend to offend you. I only passed on where I had purchased the same glove, not for riding, but for Ice fishing. I was purchasing other items, so the shipping was free. Sorry I offended you, that was not my intent.

Murphy Brown told us about these gloves when we checked in at Pitt Bull. The only Ice fishing gloves we found were at Bass Pro Shop. One problem.... the figures had holes in them so you can put bait on a hook. Not much good at keeping your hands dry.

Will get me a pair ASAP. Thanks for posting!

wal marts have the cheap right ones. No holes :roflblack:!

we have a local sporting goods store called "Mayhood's". I am gonna go there and see if they have something like that. Sometimes I am forced to go to wal-mart, but I try to shop local when I can. That seems to be the consensus with most people though. Wal-mart usually doesn't have what I need anyway. :P

Just sayin'............

I've got our gloves ordered; should have them in time for the Owners Event, but I'm not expecting Maggie Valley's weather in June to rival that of Spyderfest's in April. Warmer rain, hopefully, if/when it does rain. See you guys next month!
