• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The Proper Condiment

When over on the other side of the pond I really enjoy a nice Dog with sauerkraut....Over here where you don't see sauerkraut
I make do with onions and hot English mustard.
I like bratwurst but I prefer German frankfurters.

HOT DOG BRANDS

Some great ideas folks. Can I stir the pot a little here? :roflblack:

Only one proponent of ketchup. I am still open to that and know people who like it.

How about brands? I have heard Nathan's, and Costco. Anyone like Hebrew National? We tried those once.

How about styles? Chicago style and the various ingredients for the "garden?" Arizona style?

Regardless, I am getting a bit hungry for you know what.

Round 2: :bbq::bbq::bbq::bbq::bbq::bbq::bbq:
:agree:.....Really this is the KEY thing ..........I like Nathan's and Hebrew National........but Costco has them beat price wise and I like the taste better...................and if you BURN them just a little bit ......:clap: :clap: :clap:..............they are HEAVEN ...by themselves ...no bun ...no condiments :yes::yes::yes::yes::yes::yes::yes::yes::yes::yes::yes::yes::yes::yes::yes:.......Mike

Nathan's, or Sabretts... :2thumbs:
They have a real nice flavor and texture!

Question:
Baked Beans, or Sauerkraut?? :dontknow:

my hot dogs are stuffed with dill pickles, cheese, wrapped in bacon and char broiled. I serve them with a mix of mayo, mustard and black pepper. To add anything else is to ruin the perfect hot dog...:thumbup: now if its just a dog...mustard and mayo...then the other stuff like relish, onions, chili, cheese...etc
Bring some of those down; sounds delicious! We rarely get lunch when we work! 😀

If (when) I put sauerkraut on my brats, it gets doctored a bit with caraway seeds. Anybody try boiling brats in beer, then wrapping in bacon and grilling?
