• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The web page doesn't have Can-am listed under bikes, will you be including the Spyder?

These LED replacement bulbs will not work on the RT turn signals with or without the CANBUS option.

Are you speaking from experience? The CanBUS adaptor is essentially a load resistor that simulates a load, so that that the computer sees the same draw as a standard incandescent bulb.

Been there and done that, don't work. The load resistors to mimic the incandescent lamp also get very hot in use and MELT plastic. There is no metal in and around the tail light assemblies to mount the load resistors. None the less. with or without the load resistors installed, Nanny does not like them and fast flashes.

Can these be safely used for the foglights ?
If I need a resistor to mimic the draw of an incandescent bulb, what is the advantage ?

I used this on my 2012 RT works fine and they are ALMOST as bright as HID's....just plug-in N ride!

They do heat up, but what was the rating on the resistor you used?

ThreeWheels - for maximum light output from your fog lights I would suggest looking at this LED bulb (assuming you don't want to go with an HID KIT):

Philips has H11 / H8 / H16 LED Fog bulbs which replicates the beam pattern of an OEM halogen bulb (the only LED bulb that has been properly tested) - Here are some pictures of the bulb:

Notice how well they distribute the lights? Philips designed these LED replacement bulbs to maximize the use of the reflector bowl - just like it’s designed to be used!

Make sure to check out easy to use HID/LED/bulb Lamp Replacement Guide to see what bulbs your vehicle uses - SPYDER INCLUDED.
