• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The Ongoing Saga of Buying a Sypder....

Glad you finally have your Spyder! I had a similar experience when I went to pick up my Spyder (#600). On the way from the service department to the Showroom area both keys to the Spyder were lost! That was in Dec, 2007 and they haven't turned up yet. The Dealer called BRP and they overnighted a new set of keys so my delay was only a couple of days. Still, it was a huge disappointment having to go home empty handed on that first day.

As an aside, really like this forum, is way better then others I have been involved in where every post ends up in a flame fest. Very helpful people as well !!

Ditto!!! I know a few over there really like to start fires. Same reason why I sit over here most of the time.

Hey Cajun man! I was hoping to see a post after your ride today. Hope that no news is good news. Don't keep us in suspense!

Who you talkin' about Willis?

Well, put 146 miles on her yesterday. Loving it so far. I was very impressed in how smooth the ride is.

As some of you may know, our great Louisiana roads (insert sarcastic look here) are perfect for motorcycle riding ! Cool part is dodging all the pot holes makes you pretty adept at mastering the handling qualities of a Spyder !

Thanks for all the wlecomes, as well. :2thumbs:

Now you will become the most accommodating husband. Your wife needs a grain of salt? No problem going to the store right now. We're outa toothpicks? Be right back. You get the picture? Have fun, Cajun, and don't eat all the boudin before we get there in July!
