• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I remember Crazy Eddie's commercials; I believe they were in NYC; at least I think that was the headquarters.

I don't remember #11.

I remember as a kid in Brooklyn N.Y. the different trucks that had rides on them coming around the neighborhood, lot of fun, especially the Tilt-O-Wheel that spun you around.

yeah I remember all of them. My brother was a real fan of the 3 Stooges and their seltzer fights so that was what he wanted for his birthday. He invited several of his friends over and Dad got us 8 or 10 bottles and we went to town. Great birthday party.

 No wonder we never saw them!
Amusement rides only showed up once a year... At the little World's Fair!
(Now in it's 142nd year!)

in east harlem where i spent my very young years, we also had a man selling jelly apples from a push cart, and sweet potatoes from another cart. then there was a cart with a ice block and a shaver for snow cones, and a little old lady used to sit on the corner with a big wash basin, and she would have it filled with salt water and lupini beans, she would dip a cup into the beans and fill the cup, then using her fingers to help drain the water out of them, then put them in a small bag for us.
