• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I went to the Can-Am dealership, but the staff said they don't know.

It is not the current brake sound.
A grinding sound is heard. KRIRIRIRIRIRIRIRIRIRCCCC

It makes a noise when first starting up.

Even when the throttle is slightly closed in N gear, the noise is heard.

A sound is heard when driving at a speed of 0 to 10 km/h.

What is the problem.. please help.. please

Kongdolly, you'll probably get more responses if any viewers of the vid DON'T hafta sign in &/or do anything else in order to watch it.

! Sign in to confirm your age

Sorry, but without the vid, which is somehow restricted ^^ then no-one's really going to know what your problem is/sounds like?! :gaah:

Is the noise a brake noise that ONLY happens when the Spyder starts moving, or is it a noise that starts with the engine, continues as you idle, and maybe gets worse as you start moving? :dontknow:

Changed to full disclosure. A strange noise is heard during the early start. It's the first time I've driven well at 20,000 miles and this is the first time I've heard this sound. T_T

Hmmm, not sure that I really could hear anything too much untoward in that vid, except maybe a bit more huffing from the exhaust than is probably ideal, but that could easily be due to wherever the mic is sited &/or my gradually more compromised hearing... or maybe it's a lost spring &/or gasket; possibly a crack or leak somewhere in your exhaust that's making the noise you're concerned about?? :dontknow:

However, while I know this thread is in the F3 section, and you've asked before about F3 Tires & Rim Widths (Feb '23) and about replacing the HCM Filter on a 2018 F3S (Mar '23), but you've also posted earlier on (Jan '23) about trying to increase the ground clearance on a 2021 Ryker Rally, so I guess I should really also check to make sure that I know which bike you're talking about... The Ryker of the F3?

And while we're on that ^^ subject, it really would help readers and mean that you don't need to absolutely clear in every post what year/model Spyder/Ryker you're talking about if you added your current ride info to your sig line as requested in this sticky:

;) Just Sayin'

And repeating that I couldn't really hear anything much wrong in that vid. :dontknow:

Sorry. :opps:

New noises are usually not a good sign. Having said that. I don't hear anything that would concern me. Do you hear it in this video?

kongdoly -- does the noise sound more like a squeak or chirp? Did you change to another brand oil rather than BRP? Does the noise change when turning your handlebars while stopped?
