There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. The Morning Thread

Good Morning

71 degrees and partly cloudy here. It's supposed to rain later so I'm off to run errands on the Spyder :yes:. I need to get some meds for my sweet old dog.

32 here this morning and it is lightly snowing, wind from the SW with a 22 degree wind chill factor.

Passa un buon fine settimana! ;)

Good Sunday Morning To All

Decided to put the snow tires on our Audi yesterday, and discovered one bad brake rotor in the front. With the wife in South Dakota with the other car I had to use the Spyder. So I dressed warm and filled the tank with the 4 gallons of stabilized gas I had ready and I headed to the closest auto parts store.

Since the parts store was only a 15 mile round trip and it being a warm 28 out I rode with my light gloves and turned on the grips to high. Of course that store did not have the rotor. They called around and found a store that did have it. Off I go to add and additional 40 miles.
At this point I was wishing I had grapped my heaver gloves.

I loved all the comments and looks I received at the parts store. I even took the time to stop on the way home at the local Spyder dealer to pick up the paste needed for the spark plugs. I was greated at the door by one of the employees who said there's always one and you are it.:roflblack:

The parts guy told me that they don't stock the paste since it's around $80 for the tube so he went to one of the machanics and got a small amount in a small plastic bag (good for about 6 plugs) and gave that to me at no charge.

It sure felt good to get one last ride in this year :ohyea:

Good morning Spyderlovers!

I just read about Les's cold ryde and I'm thinking about my plans to ryde to KC & back on Tuesday. While in Texas last month they diagnosed the need for a new ignition & DESS module. But the only had 1 of each & another ryder needed it worse. (I was still able to start my Spyder, but she couldn't.) So that tech opened a case & I'll get the work done closer to hame (though it's about 260 miles round trip). Tuesday it's supposed to be in the 50s & dry, so I'll bundle up & brave the cold morning air for 2 1/2 hours on the interstate. Please pray that the weather forecast holds!

Good Luck!!

The Sun is just peeking over Mt Lemmon (10,400' +) and it is 47* right now soon to be 74*. A little sore from yesterdays ride on my new R1200R LC two wheel BMW. (400 miles). Will jump in the hot tub before showering and ride to Tubac for breakfast on the Spyder. A good morning to all!

Mornin' all

:clap:glad there are some that can ryde today.

Here in the Midwest, I'm sure most of the :ani29: are tucked away - I know mine is.

 'in for an early Spring... our high today might get to 39.:gaah:

I left the house early after 1 cup of coffee and am now sitting in *$ waiting for the work on my Spyder. So this is my day. 2 1/2 drive here, wait about 4 hours 2-3 hours drive home. Some good news: the weather forecast for today improved and it's a couple degrees warmer than they forecasted; and I'll be well caffeinated by the time I head home!

Good Morning All:yes:

No snow yet, but the Spyder has had it's fuel stabilized and as soon as Mobil 1 goes on sale I will change it's oil and spark plugs.
A new rear tire will also go on before Spring. Michelin Premier A/S will go on this time and I will find out if what they advertise about it getting better wet grip as it wears is true.

good morning to each & all............................ hate to be living up in the Midwest & other places & already parked my Spydy for the season...........

here in good ole GA us Georgia Peaches gonna keep riding for another couple of months. then maybe park for about 6 weeks then crank em back up once again.
