• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The Morning Thread

good sunday morning to each & all.............. have had a blast the last 3 days riding my Spydy with my new riding partner. my son & his new 2020 Ryker
just some good ole back roads riding & we have done over 400 miles in the last 3 days. just riding & enjoying the days. makes my heart feel good to realize that he has listened to some of the tips that we have told him over the years, him--- ya know mom, you really do pay more attention to the surroundings when your riding on a bike, all the sounds & smells of nature. i really love being out here spending some time with you & maybe we can both go on the next wild hog adventure in 2020 me-- nothing but a big cheeky grim & smiles all day.

good evening to each & all................ haven't been on in a while.... hope all are still doing great & lets all get out this week & do some spyder rydin

And a good evening to you from Oz, where it's already 'later on tonight' for us!

Did a bit of a local ryde today, almost 100 km of enjoying one the 'not so many' sunny days that we get in the depths of our winter... Great day tho, not too many people out on the road; more bikes than usual tho, especially for winter time. Only real downside was how few Cafe's & Eateries there were open, and even those that are open have restrictions on the number of customers they are allowed to cater for at any one time, so it's a bit of a lottery unless you pre-book.... but we rarely know where we are actually going on these rydes, generally just choosing to explore where the whim, the sun, and the roads take us, so booking ahead is a bit tough!!

But it was still a great day & a great ryde! Here's hoping your 'today' is as good as ours was! :ohyea:

We ride the same way Peter. Go left or right out of the driveway and figure where to turn next. Most of our rides are close to 100 miles. We are also finding eateries closed or restricted...but that is okay, we are avoiding them like the plague, because we don't want to catch anything. We have eaten out exactly twice since March. The last place, a fine restaurant, but their virus protections were sorely lacking in our opinion. We wore our gloves through the whole process.

Right back at ya---

And good morning to you all. Glad to see you back with a positive outlook in these strange times. We've cancelled one of our trips ( Pikes Peak) but still plan on going to the ( cancelled ) Nor Cal Spyder Rally even though it's officially unsanctioned--- many of us have kept our reservations and will enjoy the north coast of California.
