The concrete porch on the "back" of our house had been deteriorating for years, and the time finally came to tear it out, and replace it.
Of course; a rotting sill-plate was uncovered...
She doesn't deal well with change... I'm not sure if I can keep avoiding the inevitable!

Reminds me of the project to replace a few rotting boards on the deck of my last home.

I ended up dismantling the whole thing, and replacing everything with new before it was over.
