• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

We are coming this is not a cancellation.:lecturef_smilie:
Seth arrived here @ 10:15pm---he should have been here at 8:00pm but the dudes map reading skills sucks, and after seeing the borders of WI. & IL at Dubuque he decided to finally go south to my home. And yes he did get acquainted once again with the Iowa Hwy. Patrol a reunion of sorts:roflblack::roflblack:. So after all that and a near death experience hydro-surfing the :spyder:on I-80 he is resting comfortably. We should arrive in Cuba Tuesday 4:30 pm:popcorn::popcorn:

See you all then
Jim & Seth:thumbup:

we are in Tiffin (Iowa City) Iowa anyone wants to join us for a 10 AM departure call Seth at 218-556-3994

just to be clear, f the ia SP and that was the worst rain I have EVER rode in with now bald snow tire. I planed at over 40 degrees with no nanny and had to run'er 90 to keep it from grabbing and high siding me.

I left dirt town thinking I could beat the rain and would have if would NOT have missed the 27 exit off of 20 in IA and the whole smokies incident.

You don't know until you actually do it so I learned some riding techniques, tested some gear and had a great buddy help me out when I rolled into his garage ( i hope get the joke with this) looking like a soaked rat

TO SPYDERFEST AND beyond

I asked Len last night where Baja Ron has been--haven't seen much posting from him. He thought he was probably busy working on his next cartoon special.

I'm wondering if he's starting a new series for us all to follow until Spyderfest 2012 on SethO and jedd--or maybe they are just going to meet up with Doc and Forrest?!?!?!?!

I am sure if a series was done on our adventure it would not meet the G rating required here to be posted :cus: far too many expletives in our spirited debates on which way to turn at the next intersection:roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

Leaving in a hour or so see you all soon

Here's hoping the rest of your journey to Spyderfest will be much less eventful than what Seth has already gone through.

We made it for those of you that always wondered,, the :spyder2: flies real nice. We each crossed a elevated RR crossing we slowed to 60 to cross but the other side was even steeper our flight path was low for a estimated distance of 6 feet:yikes: They flew real nice but if nanny wouldn't kick in during flight we could use the throttle to keep a front lift in our flight attitude. Other than that it was just another excellent ryde with a good buddie.

:2thumbs: Glad to hear you made it there safely.

I have always wondered what would happen if you were to get some air like that. How did the Nanny react when it kicked in?

It has happened to me a few times now the nanny just cuts you out flat when tires leave ground, it is instantly. So when you depart in flight it is cut very short by the engine (gyro) slamming to a stop, it is startling when it does this it, but upon landing it is instant on its response to continue driving. With the rain and the nap I had scheduled yesterday it was not too eventful we'll try to do better today:welcome:

That would definitely give me some concern the first time it happened. I hope you have an awesome time and make the event worthwhile.
