There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I wish I could be there with you all. I really wanted to make it this year but... I had to chose between the snowmobile trip or the Smokies, snowmobiling won. Plus I was just in North Carolina six weeks ago, so it's not like I haven't seen any mountains lately.
One thing for sure though, I need a job that gives me more vacation time and an increase in pay. Or win the lottery.

I went by Smokys this morning and there is very little parking, maybe 10-12 bikes. This is going to be a problem for those not in walking distance. Any plans for additional parking? Ideas would be appreciated.

nah.. They squeeze in way more than that. There is a lot across the street that people used last year.
spyders can be parked pretty efficiently if parked back to back... As long as you don't mind waiting for another bike to be moved. Seemed most people hung out at Smokies for quite a while last year.
