• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The Hub Motorcycle Resort

I ridden right by this motorcycle resort but never have stayed there. It"s off Rt 7, south of Russellville Arkansas. Going up with a couple of tip over cycles. Saturday night the Hub's restaurant, Scooters, has a special on prime rib. You don't need reservations for dinner but if you want prime rib you need to reserve one ahead of time, I've done it. The ride up 7 from Hot Springs Village will be beautiful. If interested google the Hub Motorcycle Resort, reserve a room and join us for dinner.

I've never been there, myself, but I know some Harley riders here that go down there occasionally and use it as a base while they ride the Arkansas Ozarks. I'm putting it on my bucket list.

PICS OF OUR TRIP TO THE HUB MOTEL RESORT

The trip going north on Rt 7 was beautiful. Now to describe this Motel as a resort might have the truth stretched just a lil. When I see a resort I think of about pools, spas, etc. Everyone says oh this is retro. Again when I hear the term built as a retro I'm thinking built this century. This motel was built maybe in the 60's. Still has the original carpet. But it is fun and there are many bikes on the weekend. From big to small cycles. Our RT was the only trike staying the weekend. The restaurant was very good. I got 41.5 mph/gallon riding two up and storage areas filled. I squeezed our 226 miles on the tank, filling up 5.3. I had still a half a gallon of gas left in the tank

I stayed there several years ago when I had my Triumph Rocket and we met there for Rockets Across America.

Got to ride Route 7 someday

The Hub looks like a great place for a few days. I looked up Marble Falls on Google Maps and was directed to Marble City, and I guess they are the same?

Thanks for the post.

Trust me there is no city there. Outside of the motel, post office and a couple other small buildings plus the abandon fake town of Dog Patch not much else there.

It is above Russellville, 8 miles south of Harrison Arkansas. Their address is Rt7 spur.

Is that correct? 8 Miles South of Harrison?

DC KNOWS the HUB......

I usually go there twice a year, once every May around Memorial Day with a group from a now defunct website called Intruder Alert and my wife and I camp a week on our own or with close friends in Sept/Oct...

Debbie and Randall are great folks and will do what they can to help ya...I usually camp and it's $10 a day and you don' t need reservations for that, they dedicate a couple of rooms for campers to use for shower/restrooms and if the weather gets crazy you can hold up in the rooms..

Nice fire pit out back and they will do a load of laundry for you for a real small fee and they come back folded even and downy fresh!....

It is set between Jasper and Harrison and in the perfect location to venture out to some really nice twisties and scenery! About an Hr from Eureka Springs and even closer to Branson....

It is a twice a year ritual I am unlikely to give up any time soon...Health permitting!
