• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The 1330 HCM filter is getting a bit hard to find. P/N 420211156 is backordered from good old BRP and is a pretty rare find anywhere else. So glad I order months and miles ahead of time.

Local parts guy couldn't even find it on his computer. BajaRons is waiting with bated breath and had to turn away a customer as they didn't have one in stock either. I have one on order from Rons.

A heartfelt thank you to BRP/Can Am for the lack of a commonly required filter for a standard engine.

We stock them. Usually have 15-20 on hand. But when BRP ran out, we got cleaned out in a hurry. We've had them on back order more than 2 weeks. If you can find one, I'd get it.

I show the part number as 420256454 and available from several sellers on eBay and Amazon.

True... But that's the wrong filter. That is the SE5 HCM filter. And over $100.00 cheaper than the correct filter! (Part # 420211156) Don't try to install Part # 420256454 in your SE6!:yikes:

I ordered an HCM filter (BRP-420211156) from Lamonster this morning when I got home from work.

Just received notification when I woke up that it has shipped, so it looks like Lamonster still has them for now.

Thanks for the heads-up, Lew.

Went on www.lamonstergarage.com and quickly ordered one. Hopefully, one will be available by the time I need it (which will be another 15,000 miles or so).

Dang. I need to ride more often, lol.

Sorry - my mistake.

I forgot to update that the HCM filter that I ordered on Friday from Lamonster garage arrived on Monday afternoon.

I plan on changing the Oil and HCM filter this weekend after the F3 gets a nose piercing to hang the angel bell far and low to the front.

I am also adding some color to the grill and fog light covers.

Hopefully they can start filling the outstanding filter orders.......

We received our order from BRP yesterday afternoon. So, the 1330 HCM filter appears to be available again. Now, if they could just find a way to reduce the price a little bit.
