• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The Five Wheel Gang is Planning a Ride - Test run, Oct 5th; Main ride, Spring 2014

THIS A LAZY FARM ROAD WITH LOTS OF Sceanery and another river crossing (DESCHUTES RIver) WITH TWISTIES AND UP AND DOWNS ALOT LESS TRAFFIC AND MORE FUN TO RIDE.

I've just gotten around to looking at this. I think it will be fun, but I'm checking with the other 3/5ths of the gang.

Special Burger Deal at Our Destination

We were able flex our impressive muscle. When we get to Burgerville will be running a special deal.

The deal is you get two burgers from the list below for $7.00:
  • Tillamook Cheeseburger
  • Deluxe Crispy Chicken Sandwich
  • Spicy Anasazi Bean Burger
  • Wild Alaskan Halibut Filet Sandwich

By "flex our impressive muscle," I really mean "found the ad for this deal in our email."

I'm working on putting together a rally-style route book. I'm not promising that the route book will be completed in time.

Thunderbirds are go. Well, 90% certain. As long as the weather report holds, we're good. If we see the weather report going sour on Friday morning, we'll back out.

So . . . who is coming?

I'm a wimp

I love that you are planning this ride. I'm a new Spyder owner but long-term motorcycle rider.

I commuted year-round on 2 wheels in the Puget Sound area for the better part of 15 years. Now that I'm retired, going out on a cold, possibly rainy day, just doesn't hold the same fascination for me as it did when I was 16 on my first bike, an Indian.

I'll be a last minute participant based on the weather.

Regards,

Dan

That's OK Dan. This is the check the ryde, ryde. We'll be doing the official ride next spring.

Thunderbirds are go!

Overnight, the Five-Wheel Gang went out and beat up the weather, so there is now a 0% chance of rain along the route.

Meet at: 7:00 AM
Where: Starbucks in Issaquah near the Krispy Kreme (6170 East Lake Sammamish Pkwy SE, Issaquah, WA)
Start the ryde: 8:00 AM

Wheeeeee!

:agree: it was awesome ride, had a few detours but all in all a good time by all. The route was fun with all the fall colors and of course the twisties... Good job ladies>>>>>

Thank you, thank you.

We're going to make another change to the route to avoid Front Street.

We are likely to do one last test run on Superbowl Sunday. Burgerville usually has a burger deal on that day, and we don't care about football.

If the weather is bad, we'll take the route by car. If the weather is not too bad . . . ;)

The official run will likely be in the Mar, Apr, May time-frame.

We're still working out how to edit the video together. We'll post that when it's done.
