• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The End Is Getting Closer...

Yep, I am trying to bring my Spyder home to Minnesota from Alabama. I expect the first day's ride to be pleasant.....lol

Bummer...

That it is....Will have to plan that trip to Julian for the bacon hot chocolate to help make your suffering a bit more flavorful....:roflblack::roflblack:

Except for Thursday and Saturday I don't see a problem. Looks like good riding weather to me..

:congrats: It should be pretty decent...

Right up until the Salt Trucks start dropping their cargo on the streets! :yikes:
(Riding today, tomorrow, and Wednesday!)

I'm looking into getting some heated gear from BajaRon to extend my season. Also, riding to the Bayou rally in March and then the Hill Country in October, I was ryding from one climate to another and back. I wished I had something more to compensate.

We have been there and done that. The bottom dropped out on low temperatures, (we had 10 above--my comfort zone now), and the four inches is still on the ground. I have officially called it a season. Been a while since I decided to hang it up in October.

Is this the year that winter is coming back? Had to use the snowthrower this go around. Did not even fire it up last season.

:bbq::bbq::bbq::bbq::bbq::bbq:Hot Chocolate time. :yes:

You'll really like the heated gear, Patti. We used ours on Saturday. We got on the road at 8a and it was 42* and we were pretty toasty. We have just the liner and gloves.

No More Snow

Still in the 90s here in Tucson during the day and 60s at night. We suffer for 3-4 months during the summer for riding season all year long.
;)

the end is here!

Of hot weather, that is! Now to ride cool and comfortable for the next 7 months! warm for may and June, then hot July, Aug, Sep. No wonder we go away! Joe

We suffer for three Months during the Winter, for the ability to ride in fantastic weather, the rest of the year! :D

My spyder was forced in to hibernation on Oct. 15th. This week the temps in the 40's during the day, 30's at night and snow in the higher elevations. Deanna

It seems that every year about this time, Ma Nature develops a serious case of dandruff, maybe she needs a better shampoo.
It'll be in the 60s the rest of the week, think I'll suit up and ride.

I live in the DC area. There is no riding season. Just hot and cold riding seasons. I ride from 10 to 110 degrees. only slacking if there is actual ice on the road.
