the dreaded black hole under the seat

can anyone tell me if one of the seat bolts goes here will it harm anything to leave it, as i can see no way of seeing r retrieving it, please don't ask how this happened, haha. oh and i'm asking for a friend

Tell your friend to next time stuff a rag in the black hole first. You might be able to get them out with a magnet on a string, but if you don't, I think you will be ok, though you might start to rattle like an old Harley!

But don't worry: there's an easy fix to this! :thumbup:

Just get ten of your best friends to come over... hoist the bike up over your heads, invert it, and shake the heck out of it! The bolt will eventually fall out! :clap:

Seriously: it'll probably work it's way out the bottom of the bike, and you'll spit it out into the road someplace.

LOL. I had that happen. I stuck a magnet down the hole and was able to find the bolt. There isnt anything in there that it will harm. It would fall on to the ground it there wasnt a splash shield above the rear tire.
