• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The deed is done

Buckeye connection

:congrats::congrats:

I will likely be in AZ (Buckeye-Tucson-Globe) this winter, so let's ride... I'm 65, had my SE5 three months, 3000 miles of smiles

If you every head East . . . . .

. . . . towards New Mexico, let me know.

I am 61 and always looking for an excuse to meet up with other Spyder riders.
:congrats: and enjoy!

Tom

Congrats to you!!
The fist person to own one in our podunk town was Mr. Parler... and he's 76. ;)

Have fun and do be safe!

:congrats: Don't worry about what those other people say as they will soon be green with envy that you are out doing something fun that they are not. This is going to be an exciting time for you. :2thumbs:

old people

we went to the smokies and most of the people are old that rides the spyder that surprise me. :roflblack: maybe the old people are smart the bikes are safe and fun. I think they are so safe i got my wife a 09. ok i am 43 is that old?

I am 43 as well. :D

A major factor in my decision is that I have had 7 knee surgeries, and could not really trust them to hold up a bike at a stop for an extended period of time. There is no substitute for not having to put my feet down.

45 here and problems with arthritic ankles would make it difficult to ride two wheelers daily.

welcomeBe 69 in a month. Love my spyder. Only person who thinks I'm nuts (at least says it) is my son. He's a Harley rider so I take that into account. Plus his bloodline is a little suspect.
Anyway, ride safe and enjoy.
Dick

You will get used to the Faster debate . . . .

You will love it!!!! Red is faster.....:2thumbs:

. . . .yes, Red is Faster than Yellow (just), which is just seconds Faster than Phantom (boy, do they hate that), but none of them are faster than Silver! Which is why it is called "Full Moon", 'cause that is all the colors behind a Silver see. :D
