• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Welcome to the forum Wd3rd. Well you will get lots of different suggestions on this one. I use Plexus on the windshield and I use Liquid glass polish on the paint. I use mother back to black on the black panels. But that is just me there are lots of products that work. The windshield is where you have to be careful not to use the wrong product.

I'll be using Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Spray Coating on painted surfaces based on a test Project Farm just completed. I use 303 Products Aerospace Protectant on the textured plastic parts (just be sure to allow it at least 24 hours to dry before it goes in the rain). And the Rain-X Plastic is working well on windscreens and light covers for me.

I use Rain-X plastic on the windscreen and lights, zymol wax on the painted surfaces (thinking about a ceramic coating), Meguiars plastic protectant for the plastic parts, Regular rain-X for the mirrors.

Thanks. I been so confused. All thes ceramic waxes and new stuff. I just
Want the best. Because this spyder has a huge amount of sentimental value to me. Thanks

Lots of good stuff available for painted and plastic, but for the windscreen there is nothing better than Plexus. I even use it on my glasses (plastic lenses).

+1 for Plexus - great stuff that gives the w/s a super slick finish while removing bugs and crap.
Re wax...that's up to you. Do you want spray, liquid or paste? Too many choices and none are bad. As for me, I prefer paste - Meguiar's #26 Yellow. Very easy to use.

Thanks again. Money or type isn't a big issue. The Spyder means alot. I'll definitely use plexus or plastic rain x on the windshield. I'm just confused about the ceramic or hydrophobic. Just the best and I know you people know what is what so I'm going to take yalls word. Thanks

I use Plexus on the whole ride!!

Thbanks for all the replys. I just want the best so it will really turn some heads. I've been researching so much stuff till I'm sick of it. I just wish there was a list to make a personal kit. Be safe. Thanks

Try RejeX. It is not a wax. It is a polymer coating that goes on like wax does. Be careful to follow directions because if it is applied when it is too hot outside, It is a bugger to wipe off. At the right temperature it goes on with ease. It's slicker, shinier, and lasts longer than wax..... Jim

Good cleaning With RV wash and wax and Plexus 2 times a year. Pledge all the other times on everything. We get lots of rain and dust so mist off. Wipe with damp towel. Dry with new towel. Let sit for a few minutes. Buff with 2 layers of pledge. Looks great.
