• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

When real young it was all the great animated Christmas shows. :)

:hun: I thought you were older... I guess online postings can fool a person!:roflblack:

BTW... Grinch w Jim Carrey is still a bit to new for my time, but A Christmas Story was out when I was a kid and I did not like it at the time because it was not a cartoon. Now I love it!

I enjoy it because it does such a great job of telling the story through the eyes of a child...

Have you watched the Christmas Story 2 yet? I kind of like it. It has all the famous punch lines but wrapped around some new stuff. Give it a look if you have not seen it. Now we see Christmas through the eyes of a teenager.

Enjoy..!!

The movie once again...I have actually never seen it but have heard about it since it came out...I'm I the only one..?? :roflblack:

I've never watched either movie Bob has posted either, though I have heard of them. Another one is Miracle on 34th street or whatever, never saw that either.

Still love White Christmas with Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye as 1 of my favorite Christmas movies - also A Christmas Carol with George C. Scott is my favorite version.

I lived "A Christmas Story" . . . I grew up in the 50's, we lived in a house with a coal furnace, dressed up in snow suits to go out and play in the winter, and life was pretty much like they showed in that movie . . . Doppleganger.jpg

I've really had little interest in seeing that one... The original was just too good... :D
