I apologize in advance for my long opening post but I think it's worth a read
Another trip to my favorite dealership to find out that my DPS unit is dead (I was getting the "check DPS" message). They checked it out and everything else that has to do with the DPS (fuse, sensor, etc.) were good and the unit itself was kapoot. To add more to the bad news, my Spyder's warranty went out 2 months ago. Oh well... or so I thought.
I am fairly new here and some of you may have already seen me singing the praise for Cowtown USA, the dealership I take my ryde to. Well, the great part to this story is while there waiting for my ryde, Len and Dan were working the phoneline with BRP and much to my surprise, BRP told them that they will go ahead and cover it under warranty!! AWESOME!! :2thumbs:
Now I know that BRP went the extra mile and I truly appreciate that, but had it not been for Cowtown calling them (which technically they didn't have to do since it was out of warranty already) then I would've been stuck with the bill which I figured I was anyway. Owning a Spyder is awesome and I enjoy the ryde but what makes it even better is knowing that when in need, I have a dealership I can turn to and know that they will service my ryde the right way, regardless of who is footing the bill. May sound like a broken record but they really are great, I just wish every Spyder ryder had a dealership like Cowtown to turn to when in need
