• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The Adventures of Ted's Red Sled 2015

Sorry, I guess I won't be reading your posts although I'm glad you're "back." I clicked thanks and like a couple of times to see what happens, but in the future, I will only click those when I actually like the post and/or want to thank someone for posting it.

It looks like the 'additional options' for Thanks & Like listed under 'miscellaneous options' in Advanced were checked up around post #13 & they are simply defaulting down as everyone posts. Dunno if it was ever an intentional thing but hopefully 'UN-checking' them as I have done for this post may break the cycle.

Good to see you back Cyncy, & good to see some more pics of Ted enjoying his Sled!! Glad you are both still with us, & hope things only continue to get better too!:ohyea:

But it didn't bugger up my post? :dontknow:
You're right though; it IS good to have Teddy and his favorite human back in here!:yes::yes:

I been away for a while, has something changed to posting?

I started this new thread like I always had done in the past, didn't put any special requirements or permissions needed for the 'Like or Thank' to view that I know of. If anyone knows what I need to do to correct this, please let me know & I'll do it, thanks.Model.jpg

 Is it my imagination; or is Teddy getting gray?

Bob, not your imagination, time changes us all my friend & Teddy gets more "Distinguished" as he is now 'middle aged' being 7 yrs old.
Here's a 20150309_150522.jpg pic with his full winter coat, look'n like an old man.

Might not've looked like it to you (the poster) but for everyone trying to read your post it was still buggered up Bob, as evidenced by the long list of thanks & likes below it (instead of the normal 'few';))

Nothing you did Cyncy, but it looks like it's fixed now!! It started around post #13, not one of yours, but anyone who simply hit reply just transferred all the settings down - it seems to be working OK now tho, as the posts made after I turned the options off appear to have been displayed normally & without the need to 'thank' & 'like' before readers can see them.

So now we can all go back to enjoying anything you wish to share with us Cyncy, and of course get our regular fix of Ted & his Red Sled & what they've been up to!! I'll hafta work out how to post up a couple of pics of my miniature Maltese, Max, in his 'ryding seat' & gear ensconced on my Spyder - he is a bit of a Ted fan! ;)

The type of bowl you feed/water your dog will make their muzzle turn gray early. Don't remember for sure, although I think it is metal bowls. I do feed my icies in metal bowls and use plastic for their water dishes. Jake my lab ate out of metal dishes & had a gray muzzle at 5 - 6 yrs. old. Will have to look that back up one of these days.

Welcome back guys! Here's hoping you speedy recovery and you and Ted are back on the road doing what you like best!:doorag:

My (almost) pure white mini Maltese has eaten (& drunk) out of metal bowls for all of his 12 years, and I can't see ONE BIT of grey around his muzzle (or anywhere else) yet!! :yikes:

:joke::roflblack::roflblack:

But Ted does look a little more mature & distinguished than he did waaaay back then - but we all know that with great age comes great wisdom...... doesn't it??

Thank you
