• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The Adventures of Ted's Red Sled 2015

It's been way too long, but we're back.

I owe an apology to all of Teddy's fans that have helped sustain us & shared in our passion and joy since way back in May of 2010 when our Grand Adventure first started.

With the new Triple Ace engine roll out for the 2014s, the new ST and now the new F3 ( wow, BRP's been busy) things here in SpyderLovers land changed. Our little community continued to grow & with that growth came growing pains, for us as a group. This just may be my perception, but things here started to become. ...... for lack of a better word.... negative. There seemed to be so much bitching & complaining, one person attacking another. It wasn't just ppl venting, but personal attacks & with me being in a bad place myself, needing back surgery & now possibly neck surgery, I didn't want to add to the negativity that I was reading about on a daily basis. When a person is down, when I am down, if I allow more negatively in my life, then that just brings me down more, so that is the main reason Teddy & I had to take a break from our SpyderLovers family. For that, I am sorry, but I thought it was in my best interest.

Much has transpired, including me having a revision surgery on my L5/S1 lumbar disc on June 30th & I start PT on Monday. I still have 3 messed up cervical discs in my neck that are causing me major issues, especially safely being able to ryde. For the past 2 months, Ted's Red Sled

MISSED YOU

Well glad to hear you aren't dead !!!!.............Hope you get well soon :pray::pray::pray::pray::pray::pray::pray::pray::pray:......Mike

Glad to hear that you are on the mend.

I, too, spent the late spring and early summer dealing with the L5/S1 combo. PT helped a bit but the pain is still there. Doc says I'm not a candidate for surgery, yet. He was willing to load me up on Tramadol and send me on my way. I found the Tramadol left me rather depressed, even though the drug isn't supposed to have any psych effects. Now that I've got them out of my system, I'm a much happier camper.

Prayers for for your continued healing.

Chronic pain can really get you down. I'm glad you're back, though, and look forward to hearing Teddy's adventures.

I hope you can see improvement from your treatments.

Seems I posted a bit prematurely

We've had the sled up on the work rack in the garage for the past 2 months, doing a lil here & a lil there, as the pain in my back & neck would allow. Since the L5/S1 Lamenectomy revision was completed on June30th, we've rarely ridden at all, depending on my best (human) friend & my bro to get around (which I'm very grateful for) but I'll be honest, we've both been going crazy.... as many of you can imagine, since we're used to ryding daily & are right under 60 thousand miles.

Sadly, my C5-C7 cervical discs are messed up, 2 are bulging & 1 is almost gone, causing major issues when attempting to ryde, especially safely. Turning my head, especially quickly, produces an immediate grimace upon my face, and a quick wish I hadn't done so.

Since we got the sled back together, I thought we'd be back in the saddle, and we are.... just very limited right now.

I want to keep this a positive representation of Spyder ryding, so for a while, I may still be limited in our posting.

Just need to say, I've missed our SL family & am truly sorry for taking the break that we did, but as I stated before, with living in a recliner for the most part since Jan 7th, my emotional strength is not strong & it's best that I keep away from negativity. I'd also appreciate anyone following along and posting to please keep that in mind...... Thank you & Teddy sends lick'ns ;)

Thanks for the quick update............

Happy to hear you're back to communicating and having the opportunity to sit on the Teddy's Red Sled, albeit for a short time. Some fresh air therapy is better than none. In no time, your boss (Teddy) will be licking your face thanking you for taking him on the sled for french fries.

Keep up the good work and looking forward to hearing more about your improvement.

Very glad to hear the problems are getting better and hoping you'll be back on three wheels very soon!
