That also happened to me in about 1968 while riding along Minnesota's famous North Shore Drive. It follows Lake Superior and has high banks in many areas. A military fighter jet who's pilot I assumed was "hot rodding" around the lake on a training flight...came up from nowhere, over the bank and continued merrily on his way back to the base. There was a good 50 ft or so clearance above me....but to close for comfort. :bowdown:

Back in 1977 I was tooling down the road in my Brand New Datsun Pickup and a adult male peacock flew out of the ditch and was so close that my antenna hit his tail feathers, my wife dang near had a heat attack! all you could see was Peacock !

What's interesting is that the driver never even slowed down....:yikes: can't see the whole area but seems you would see something like that coming your way....but a hard sell on the telling anyone....
