• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

That was a big mistake

I've been handing out a lot of those DVD's and my wife was going to a friends house and needed one for her husband. I guess he's been looking at mine in town and found out Chris was my wife.

I couldn't remember what was on it so I decided to sit down and watch it again. Now I'm really ancy to get on the road with my fellow SpyderLovers. This is a very cool DVD and got me all fired up again. nojoke

Who knew that a year and a half later I would still be in love with the Spyder and would have more miles on it in less time than I've had on any of the motorcycles I've owned.

Who knew that this little website like SpyderLovers would bring together so many good folks from a wide range of riding skills and abilities, and disabilities and such a diverse age group. I've never known so many riders in their 70's and I think that's just too cool. Those are the truly young at heart and spirit.:doorag:

Who knew I would be taking a trip cross country once by myself on the Spyder and now with my new and old Spyder friends.

Who knew that I would be taking this trip cross country to see a sequel to a movie that I never even saw the first one. :D

I have made some new life long friends here because of the Spyder and for that I thank BRP for having the guts to bring the Spyder to market and take the risk that it might fail. I think they have a winner and that's proven to me every time I take it for a ride or stop and talk to folks about the Spyder.

This has been a great chapter in my life.
Thanks BRP :doorag:

I second that -- Thanks to all on this Forum that make our days a little brighter. To all who are travelling to L.A. for the big event -- First and foremost ryde safe and if you have time think about those of us who could not make it.

BRP and the :spyder: a real winner -- but SpyderLovers has really pushed it over the top. :2thumbs:

Lamont, what a wonderful testimony to BRP and the Spyder. I am just so excited for this ride as well. It will be good to see you again and to meet so many new SpyderLover along the way. This is a great group of people. You know we spend a lot of time preaching to our teenagers to beware of meeting people on the internet, but I have to tell you, my experience with spyder owners has been nothing but positive.

He better be or else he's taking up space in my shop for nothing.

He's got about 13 hours in installing his new cruise control. I hope it works for him. :dontknow:

We changed oil, installed a swaybar, installed a Juicebox and air filter, and I got his new mirrors mounted. He did rewrap my pipe for me too. :doorag: I think he'll be done today with the CC. We are both ready to get on the road.nojoke

I am so glad I got my spyder!!! This is by far the most expensive toy I ever bought and man am i happy I did.

I want a DVD too!!!:ohyea:

The WOW factor got me when I first saw a Spyder, but the information and insight gained from this website is what convinced me to purchase one. Thanks to all, but especially LaMonster, who I am convinced has figured some way to stretch a day into way more than 24 hours, modding, riding, helping others, and running a website(s). :2thumbs::clap::bowdown:

Special THANKS to Lamont for a great web site.

I guess I have been out of the loop for a while. What DVDS are we talking about? Looks like life will be relocating my family to Winchester ,Virginia. so I hope there are some spyderlovers close by. I did look at the map and it appears that lamonts is only 400 miles. :2thumbs:

I imagine the DVD Lamont is referring to is the one that I believe you should have received with your ownership package. It talks about the product development of the Spyder and shows how the various traction management systems work. It is very professionally done.
Good luck with your move.

I am soooo happy with my spyder. :agree:

I have met some great people because of it as well. I can't wait to meet some of you, I can't make it to LA but have everything registered and reserved for Gatlinburg!

Thanks Lamont for this site and all the other very helpful members!!
