• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

THAT PESKY REAR TIRE VALVE

THanks

When I changed my rear tire I put a metal 85 degree mtc. valve from KurveyGirl in the middle of the RIM pointing to the disc........Mike

Thanks Mike I will check into that. I have to replace my back tire here real soon. Might as well make it a little easier to check the pressure.

IMG_0039.jpg The T-Valve on the left. Lamonster has them. Pick one up and next time tire change install it. Make sure to index the valve stem so that the belt pulley is not in the way too. Never have to remove the sensor to add air. You will lose a tiny bit anytime you remove the sensor. If on the front wheels, add about 1.0-1.5 psi more to compensate for the loss.
Buckskin

I never lose any air when I check pressure with mine.

Tractor Supply

I use the Harbor Frieght air hose type with flex hose and guage. It has a push button to deflate (adjust) the pressure cold. I never worry on the road unless tis a long trip. I use a low pressure push on from Tractor Supply intended for low pressure tyres. Max scale 20 lbs. At 26,000 likes still have a way to go to the bars. I use nitrogen cause I have a tank. I run 16 front 26 rear.

Changing the valve stem......

......when you have a new tire fitted is the answer to both checking the pressure and adding air. IMHO of course!
Those short OEM stems are ridiculous!
