• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Thanks to Phil's modes

Thanks Phil, great idea adding the exhaust fan to the belly pans. mine is a 2013 rt so because of the frame differences I had to set the fan up a little and build a shroud up to it. IT WORKS GREAT. I don't have the heat issues that other 13,s have, but the fan takes out the heat under the tubberware as I wanted. good thinking-thanks again

Would like to see some pictures & parts used. Fellow RT/s owner

fan

:nopic: You can't put that up without pictures!

Sorry guys, don't have the capabilities to do pictures. If you look thru the posts you will find PHIL's MODES, its one of the last ones. he has pictures and the fan type and where to get it. Phils spyder is a 2012 so the frame is different, mines a 2013 rt. the only difference with the install is that you can't anchor the fan to the belly pan, there is an excisting flange there, already with a hole in it and you have to add a leg. because the fan doesn't sit on the belly pan you have to make a collar to direct the air out.

keep in mind, this not a cure for the excessive heat that some have had to deal with. this was strictly to cool down the inside of the tubberware and hopefully extend the life of the wires, hoses etc. The fan only has about a 3.5 amp draw, buy moves about 2200cfm. for me--it works very well. You could get a smaller fan and do it just like phils, but I really couldn't find one that had the cfm rating and the low amp draw.hope this helps
