• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

9/11 Remembering.....Thankful for what we have

We are blessed to have 4 adult healthy children (and 3 grandchildren) and have been married 38 years.....remembering 9/11 when watching this tribute video -- this commercial only ran once....... remembering...:pray::pray: We lived on the east coast (Philadelphia) when 911 occurred.

Jim Brooks

This is the commercial spot Budweiser produced after 9/11. They only aired it once so as not to benefit financially from it - they just wanted to acknowledge the tragic event. I never saw this commercial until now.... it is quite moving. Talk about a picture being worth a thousand words.

It's good to remember, the loss, loved ones

Sometimes it's also nice to forget.
We must thank the first responders, yet we want to put the 'action' that caused it, out of our mind. I do anyway.

Remember what? To rain on a parade...

Sorry to burst a bubble.

Many thought provoking theories point fingers at the Americans them selves.
The molten metal weeks after the incident, is strong evidence in itself, the planes did not drop those structures alone.

Anyway, a lot of innocents died in those towers. That was not right.
May they rest in peace.

I will not forget ( it will always be in mind) I am thank full for my health, family, friends, and for the men and women that protect/ and serve our country. Deanna777 :clap::clap::clap::clap:

Those who forget the past are destined to repeat it.

I'd rather remember than repeat...

ABSOLUTELY! That's what happened to Germany in the late thirties. They simply did not want to let themselves believe what was happening. I see us repeating that mistake here and now!

Any engineer worth his salt knows those theories are hogwash.

Thanks. I didn't notice the grassy knoll, conspiracy theory the first time around.

the warren commission report is still on the Times top 10 fiction book list.

anyway a safe and enjoyable labor day to you all. :ohyea:

I REMEMER

"Rememer" as my 3 year old grandson would put it. I put it this way:

I remember the second it happened and I will not be happy until we take real action against the thugs that perpetrated that and every other crime against humanity they commit. Right now we have the technology and training to eradicate them. Stop playing nice and put yourself in the shoes of the mothers, fathers, sons and daughters that had to jump to their deaths to avoid an even more horrible death.

I remember, I remember every 9-11, every day I read a news report or watch the news, every time I see or hear the #11 and in every face of a child that will grow up free. Unlike the Nazi's that could be stopped by taking out the leadership, this is a religious ideology that can not be stopped until every root is cut and pulled. I REMEMBER and Cannot Forget and for dang sure will Never Forgive.
