A big thank you to all Veterans for your service and dedication. And Dad, thank you for your service and being a proud patriot until the day you died. Being a "Brat" was the best life a kid could ever have. I know you're up there in the Wild Blue Yonder........

It sure is a different day than when many of us came home, only to be spit on and called "Baby Killers". None of us wanted to go but we did and continue to so. Friday, a young woman, from several blocks away, brought her little girl over to give me plate of cookies and a "Thank you for your service" note. I barely now the woman and was blown away. That''s the way it is today and we love all you for acknowledging what we have and are doing in your name. We are proud to be respected and accepted.

WOW !!! I would like a moment to THANK all that have responded to this post. Friday while at the restaurant and yes I did have my Vietnam hat on... anyway I can't count the number of stranger that cane to our table to thank me for my service, it was so much deferent than when I got out as we had to turn in all of our uniforms and were told not to mention our service time out in public anyway ONCE AGAIN THANK ALL OF YOU and all of those that Served....
