I know there are a few threads started about Spyderfest 2014, however I wanted to start one with a title of THANK YOU for Spyderfeats. I have NO idea of all the time, effort and people it takes to pull off an event like this but I want to say Thank you. You may ask if its worth it and I'm here to say YES! and can not wait tell next year
ray:
This was my first Spyderfest. Myself and two other Spyder buddies rode for Springfield Ohio to Springfield MO approx. 600 miles and 11 hours to attended. Our adventure stated on Tuesday the 28th in the early AM with sprinkling rain which turned into a a full ragging storm after riding about 15 mins. We rode on thru construction in Indiana, rough roads in Illinois, lost in Saint Louis (un-updated GPS) and gusty winds in the Ozark's. This entire time I was thinking in my head "Turn around this is crazy" but we rode on. We made to the hotel In Springfield MO with bumps and bruises and a little saddle sore. Once there we did not see to many other Spyders and then at dinner the parking lot was over run by Spyder Riders. The next morning we stopped at PitBull Powersports for registration. Thats when it all started, I found my Disney Land. A little choked up because my entire family was not there to have this experience with me, I had to call home to try to explain and I found I found not not, you just gotta be there. Then to vendor village this one is hard to say than you I spent way too much money:roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack: My 2013 RT-L is now sporting: SpyderPops - missing and 3rd grills, skid plate, and block off plate, F4- custom windshield, Baker Build Air wings, Mud Flap, Custom, Paint from Sue Hopper, New brake pedal for ISCI, Misty Mountain Sheep skin, and a Complete Cycle Care cleaning kit. Not to be out done I was able to meet and speak to Lamont in person for the first time. What a great person I felt like he was just as happy to meet me as I was in meeting him. After Vender Village on Thursday we went to the drag races, what a blast! On friday we had to depart in cold temps to get home for my sons prom. On that ride home I realized that I wish I had more time and had more fellowship with other riders. So next year watch out Spdyerfest 2015 the entire Clawson Clan is heading your way for more Fellowship and riding with friends in the Ozarks.
Thank you all for my First of many SpyderFest
