• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

No Helmet Law?

He also states that Texas has no helmet law, this is untrue, it's just not mandatory except for those under 21, and if you are over 21 and choose to ride without you are suppose to have special sticker for you ride that means you have proven to the DPS that you have the means to pay your medical expenses if need be. Kind makes the rest of his article untrustworthy don't you think.

no longer

that sticker requirement has been flushed for several years, no longer required to this date. only during a traffic violation can they request if you have medical insurance requirements.
just FYI not meaning nothing off it..

T-Rex...

IMHO, the Slingshot is a different spin on the T-Rex.

See the T-Rexs' at bike shows and rallys, but have never saw them on the roads.

Maybe those in less conservative states have seen a T-Rex on the highway?

Hic cups..!!

this does pump up the publicity acfew knotches...they will sell in Texas no doubt but this will build up an appetite for them...

See TRex's all the time in Houston. There's even a company that sells them near downtown.

You will see a lot more of these vs. t-rexs due to a much lower price point on the Slingshot. I have seen a couple t-rexs here.... but very rare.

Oops.... this isn't good for the SLINGSHOT...... :gaah:

The yahoo.com stuff is getting more stupid by the day. I have them as a home page for internet, and am getting more disappointed as the days go by as to "news" article content and the total advertising blitzes they do with each article.

Most articles are based on marketing op ed pieces and have some added commentary--here--those silly spyders.

For real "news"--IMO--Yahoo a big waste of time.

It is also my home page & I'm fed up with the stupid news they put up & all the ads intermixed with the news. Makes it hard to find any worthwhile news.
