There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Texas Spyders in the Hills rally Oct. 18-20, 2018

I hate to say this but we’re going to pass on this years rally. Just no fun in this crazy wet weather..! Maybe next year 😢

Spyder on the hills

Nasty, nasty weather forecast for the 3 days rally. Don't mind the cold (love it) but not fun riding in the rain and, Spyder's do not handle very well on wet surfaces. I am waiting to check the forecast on Wednesday. Hopping it'll change, or else I am considering cancelling my trip.

BEWARE>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Just talked with "Damage Control". She said were going anyway. Damned be the torpedoes--Full speed ahead. Guess that's why I love her so much.

Leaving at O'dawn: 30 tomorrow morning. Hope to see all our friends there and meet new ones!

Jack

Hill Country is always fun, don't let a little rain stop you. 30° is like no rain at all.
As far as Spyders handling rain, they handle it great. You may need to check your air pressure.

Rain or shine the Rally goes on

The Spyder Sisters are making us t-shirts that we can order say ing"I survived the Texas Spyders in the Hills Rally 2018". We will make the best of this.

Sorry to say Thornoli's will not be there this year. We were talked into supporting the Southern Cruisers Riding Club State Rally in Kerrville last weekend and I have to work sometime....

Good luck all with the weather this year.

Rally on!

LEMONADE out of LEMONS that is how we roll here at the Texas Spyders in the Hills rally. We have a fun Spyder party pad at the pavilion. Warm and dry! Lots of vendors, music, food and the BEST spyder people! Have we mentioned VENDORS?? Time for a little Christmas shopping. Rydes happening today. Come on over!🤠

Had a great time

Hope everyone going gets a break in the weather. Post up some pictures!

We did indeed get a break. We rode over from Austin during the afternoon on Friday, and while we got drizzled on here and there, it wasn't too bad. Got there in time to have the SpyderPops team transform our ryde, and then the next day actually brought a couple of glimpses of that strange fiery ball up in the heavens. While the sun didn't last, the rain stayed away, so we had a great day of ryding -- and in my case, Rykering.

You asked for a picture -- here's one of the crew that went up from Boerne to Comfort to greet and accompany the Road Warriors for the remainder of their day's ride. My wife and I are in the foreground, and somewhere back there are Cruzr Joe and Copperman, who I had the pleasure to meet while there.

This was our first rally, and we enjoyed it thoroughly. A helmet tip to the entire team who worked so hard to pull it off, and we look forward to joining the Hill Country Spyder Ryders on some weekend rides in the near future.

JustWOW--Thank you!!

Copied from Facebook posting "Texas Spyders in the Hills 2018"

Rain, flooding, road closures, roads completely washed out --even on the Three Twisted Sisters (which we did not do) we totally understand those of you who made the decision not to come. For those of you who did make the effort, WOW!!! "When life throws you lemons, make lemonade" and our rally Team Texas and Spyder friends did just that. Welcoming our Road Warriors was a very moving experience for us. We honored them with a police escorted ryde in Boerne, a patriotic BBQ that included posting of colors, National Anthem, pledges and prayer as well as meeting the RW. Jim Booth and Charlie Galatas presented huge donations checks. Phil Burks won the Ultimate Trailer donated by Coyote PowerSports. Over all we feel very blessed by all of you.🤠 See details on our website if you were unable to pick up your rally t-shirts and want them mailed. www.spydersinthehills.com

Also, the www.spydersisters.com have t-shirts you can order---"I
Survived Spyders in the Hills Rally 2018"
