Texas Memorial Weekend BBQ

Just got back home and Jeff's poker game is on. He says he can sleep tomorrow.

Had a wonderful time catching up with old friends and making new ones. Was surprised how many out-of-state friends showed up. It was fun sharing a bit of Texas with them.

As for the BBQ, wish I had a taste and smellevision to share how good that BBQ was. Ate way too much and don't think I was the only one. It was too good to put down. "I'll have just one more piece..."

It was good people, good food, good times!

Made it home safe and sound. The BBQ was GREAT, Flamingobabe-Hotglue you guys ROCK:bowdown::bowdown::bowdown:. The food was outstanding and all the company was better. Enjoyed the rides, all my life I`ve lived here in Texas and never made it to Galveston. You folks really know how to do it up right.

Memorable !

MEMORABLE ....That's the only word I can think of to describe our trip to Texas. We started out for Charlyne and Mark's BBQ, and it ended up with a visit with my Cousin I haven't seen for about 40 years. During my contact with my Cousin I found out that he was located only 10 miles from the BBQ! Came down a day early to visit with the Cuz, and then went to Flamingobabe and HotGlue's place. Wow.......... what a place! Just want to give a BIG Thank You to both of you for putting on this gathering. The food was amazing, the tour of your place, and all the Spyder friends were great !! Hope you can get some rest ! Again.......... Thank You !! :thumbup:

Great time at the "Gathering"

Flamingobabe-Hotglue thanks for a wonderful time. Very busy couple of days and a good time had by all. Meeting new friends, picking up a few things from Spyderpops , my daughters Prom on Saturday night, what a weekend ! BBQ was AWESOME ! Thanks for everything !
