Better later than never.....I have posted several questions/comments over the last several weeks and never did introduce myself....sorry. My name is Ben and my wife's name is Pat. We adopted our :f_spider: in early June. I came home from work one day and found it sitting in our driveway. It was my wife's anniversary gift to us .
We live northeast of Houston Texas, near New Caney. We both ride our new :f_spider: and love it!!!. Not sure why, but I have been resisting adding a :f_spider: to our household for almost two years now. Boy have we been missing out on some fun.
I also enjoy old Volkswagen's. I have a 1966 Beetle and a 1956 Beetle (3rd owner/never restored). My wife enjoys showing English Bulldogs & French Bulldogs when time permits. She is also an AKC sanctioned English Bulldog judge. We both enjoy hunting and fishing.
We plan on making several changes/additions to our :f_spider: and might even consider adding a 2nd one next year. Right now we have 750 miles of trouble free riding (other than very early stalling at stop signs). Hopefully, we can avoid some of the pitfalls that other Spyder riders have been experiencing, but realize this is a complicated piece of machinery and it will have it's growing pains As BRP tries to make improvements.
Anyhow, I am sooooooo glad to have found this site as it is so full of experienced :f_spider: owners who are willing to share their knowledge and experience with the beloved :f_spider:. BTW, we own a 2013ST-SE5 in Pure Magnesium Metallic.
We look forward to seeing some of you out on the highway .
The day our :f_spider: found a new home:
