Test rode a 2014 today.

After getting the OK from my doctor to continue riding we took a stroll down to the local Honda shop. He did not have a demo unit but took a 14 off the showroom floor for us to take a test ride. Things went well extremely well and we left our 2013 Lava Bronze there and will be picking up a silver and Burgundy later in the week as soon as he can get it put together and order a upper brake light Hopefully by Thursday!

Re test ride

I also took one out for a test ride today , 2014 RT ! It was a short ride but long enough to like it and talk to a salesman about buying. Would like to get him down a little more on price. They only had the Limited in stock( Black) but I like the Cognac and want the manual trans so we want the RTS SM6. Will be talking to another dealer Monday and get back with the first one Tuesday. According to the saleman they will have to look for the RTS SM6.

I rode a 2014 at Spyderfest, they are very nice, but I won't be trading any time soon or maybe at all. I know I will catch it for this, but my 2012 is good enough that I can't justify the cost of the new one or the A$$ pounding on the trade in of my 12.

:agree: You are going to love the 14. We went from a 2013 ST-L to our 2014 RT-L and we both love it. Yes we took a $ hit, but you only go around once in this world so you should enjoy it all you can.

One test ride was all it took to fall out of love with my 12. NO HEAT to speak of and it was in the high 80's.

The dealer has it as I type. I left it there Saturday after test riding the 14 and him giving us some figures. USAA says go for it so its a done deal as soon as he gets the the rear light in and installs the bluetooth hardware, and xfer our XM radio. We nweill be keeping the "old"GPS as I have already paid for life time upgrades on it. Hopefully be riding Thursday or Friday.
