• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

So, my ride is an 08 GS and I love it... But I had to get it out of my system and test drove a brand new RT today... All I can say is it was like Butter!!!! Amazing, Perfect in every way! But I so love my rocket too. I think I'm gonna just Farkle the "you know what" out of it and make it as comfortable as I can... But I just had to say, Way to Go BRP and doing the 2014 RT so right....

Time to oder my 3rd upgrade. a new Corbin Seat, then side bags...

Careful...
You might find yourself lured into the "RT Camp"... :2thumbs:
Sweet; ain't it? :D

Why not just go get it, keep the GS too? :dontknow:

Dangerous..!!

that test ryding stuff..from what I hear they are amazing but like you love my RS..even when I had a full dressed wing it ended up like this
Gold Wing 002.jpg just a bare bones ryder I guess...:roflblack:

OMG...OMG...OMG...OMG

I totally agree on this.....I think BRP has truly nailed it with the 2014........Impressed doesn't quite cover my feelings..........This is going to be one very EXPENSIVE DEMO ride for this Spyder owner, the only thing thing I would change would be the HAND GRIPS ....they SU*K, but this is true for every Motorcycle ever made, and changing them is $30...........2014 Spyder RT here I come  :yes:    :agree:.......Mike :2excited: :thumbup::thumbup:

Gene,
Is that an '82 1100?

I had an '83... :2thumbs:

Did the rivets ever loosen-up on those ComStar wheels? :yikes:

I also rode an RT for the first time at Spyderfest...

The Brakes are tremendous!... I can't stop thinking about them.

The motor sounds like a city bus around town with the stock exhaust. Kinda funny.

That 1330 has a lot of low end grunt... I think the 998 has a little more pull at the high revs than the 1330. Still nicely done motor.

I actually found myself riding the RT and thinking..."I could possibly do one of these" which was kinda scary for me. I still prefer the lighter sportier GS and the best fit for me would be the ST with a 1330... MAKE IT BRP!

The suspension though was kinda sucky. You'd get in a turn and she would seem to be turning in fine and then the stock shocks would hit a tipping point and it was very perceptible to me... Elkas and a new sway bar would probably fix that easily though.

THOSE BRAKES are awesome though...Still holding onto my GS until they give me a bigger motor in the ST or even in the RS.
