• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Slightly OT but we're looking for some things to do on our Gatlinburg trip in a few weeks. Here's what we have:

- Bourbonfest and Maker's Mark distillery tour
- Great Mammoth Caves
- Spyder owner Meet and Greet
- Guided tour through the Smokies and Deals Gap (I'll watch my speed) :p

We'd love to do some whitewater river rafting/canoeing as well. Any good spots in the area? We also need one or two other agenda items. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

My husband & I will be coming to Gatlinburg also. We do not have our Spyders yet. I am really hoping at least one of them arrives next week.
We think we may try the Off Road Hummer Tour one of the days we are there. We will probably do some geocaching while there also. Here is the link for the Off Road Hummer Tour:

There may be a zip line in the area. I was unable to find anything out about it yet. If anyone familiar with Gatlinburg knows anything about the zipline, I would love to have more info. Not sure if I would have the guts to try it though.

Thanks!
Cindy

When i went white water rafting in the smokey's i went to the upper pigeon http://www.smokymountainrafting.com/smoky-mountain-rafting.cfm

Was a great experience and about 2-3 hours on the river. Really Enjoyed it.

It is a shame I live 1 hour from gatlinburg and don't know more about it.

Dollywood usually make for a good day with lots of shows and things to do. A lot of walking to cover it all.

I have seen several brochures about white water rafting but never looked at them but it is available.

There are a ton of shows to go to in Pigeon Forge.
Dixie Stampede
Magic SHows
Music Shows
Comedy Barn
the list goes on forever.

Obergatlinburg has indoor iceskating and a few shops inside as well as skilift ride to top of mountain and a ride similar to a one person bobsled down the mountain.

Ripleys aquarium is nice

Ripleys also has a Haunted house and Believe it or not.

I noted a couple motion movie rides the last time I was there.

Helicopter rides everywhere

Go Cart Tracks

Arcades

The space needle

There is so much to do there you should not get bored.

See ya there
